Exterior Doors & Hardware

More than just an entrance, exterior doors offer visitors a first impression of your home by making a statement. This statement is created through the synchronization of the door’s colour, material, and design. Decorative and useful, the exterior door reflects the architectural design of a home, as well as the personality of the home owner, and is an important feature that should never be overlooked.

Interior Doors & Hardware

Interior doors do more than just close off rooms; they are a main component of your interior design.

Try a classic paneled door in a traditional home or a smooth, flush door in a contemporary design. Got a small room? Pocket doors that slide into a wall are the perfect solution.

Trim & Wainscoting

One of the most important questions that we all have about trim is, what size should it be? When sizing a baseboard in a traditional-style home, a good starting point is to use a ratio of 7 percent. So if your ceiling height is 8 feet high, try a baseboard that's about 7 inches tall. A good rule of thumb for sizing window and door casings is to keep them at about 50 percent of the height of the baseboard.

Picking new flooring can be daunting task. There are many materials to choose from and each type has a gamut of options to go along with it. Also, depending on the room and the flow of traffic, there are a variety of considerations to think about.

Using multiple sources of light creates maximum effect in a space. For example, ambient lighting can be combined with task lighting to provide shadow-free work areas, while accent lighting adds drama and interest, and decorative lighting injects flair and personality.

Stairs & Railings

A staircase railing is not just a safety feature, the newels, balusters, and railings of a staircase can make a real design statement and bring a sense of style to a space. Whatever your decor—contemporary, traditional, or ultramodern—there is a staircase railing combination out there to match.

Whether it’s wood-burning, gas, or electric, it’s important to ask the right questions to ensure you get the proper size, style and model to fit your spacious home or compact condo. Recent trends show fireplaces are doing double-duty as art with linear models placed high on the wall. For extra bling, standard faux logs are being replaced with crushed glass, rocks, bamboo and sand – even Swarovski crystals!

Barn Doors

It seems nothing has captured homeowners’ imaginations as much as a rolling door system since French doors came onto the scene. Made of nearly any material you can think of, barn doors can add character and style to any space. Whether you go rustic with wrought iron or streamlined with steel, the hardware options are also seemingly endless.
